ImageNet project is a large visual database designed for use in visual object recognition software research.
Since 2010, the ImageNet project runs an annual software contest, the ImageNet Large Scale Visual Recognition Challenge (ILSVRC), where software programs compete to correctly classify and detect objects and scenes. The challenge uses a "trimmed" list of one thousand non-overlapping classes. [ref]
As a first application of Darija Open Dataset project, we translated those 1000 classes and are available on DODa's repo for anyone who's aiming to implement image classification in darija.
We actually applied a pretrained model (ResNet50) and DODa to predict the labels of random images from the Internet. Hereafter are some results:
